Here is the standing
the year before the Wizards
won the lottery and selected John Wall
. New Jersey 12-70. New York 29-53. LA Clippers
29-53. Golden State 26-56. Washington 26-56. Where are they now? The Wizards pretty much never changed. STAY THE COURSE. ADD THROUGH THE DRAFT.
How about the other teams listed. Here is last years standings
: New Jersey (Brookly) 49-33. New York 54-28. LA Clippers 56-26. Golden State 47-35. Washington 29-53. 4 of these teams made the playoffs and their future is super bright. My poor Wizards are staying the course. Building through the draft. Golden State built throught draft like DC , but alot better, plus smarter free agent or trade pickups like Carl Landry
, Jarrett Jack
and Andrew Bogut
. New Jersey, the Clippers and New York went for it and hit homers bringing in immense talent. These 4 Teams are at the top of the NBA food chain right now. What has Ted Leonsis done? He has kept the same GM and when he was presented with an opportunity to add a top of the food chain player in James Harden
he refused to make the trade for financial reasons. Now Dwight Howard
might go to Houston because he said he wants to play with James Harden (Superstars bring other Superstars) (This post is also not about Dwight Howard). What are my Wizards doing right now? Instead of finding a way to bring in substantial players like Paul Millsap
, Al Jefferson
, Josh Smith
or even a top quality point guard like Devin Harris
we are resigned to signing on the first day of free agency AJ Prices replacement. We want More- We want More (AT&T commercial).
