OkAriza for Pau Gasol?

Ariza is seen by many as superfluous now that the Wizards drafted Otto Porter and presumably will re-sign Martell Webster. All contracts in this proposed deal expire next year, so it wouldn't affect the Lakers or the Wizards cap space heading into next off-season. Notice, I didn't include the 2014 1st rounder, because for me that is a no go. Maybe, if needed a future protected pick, at most, but I think we could negotiate from a position of strength (more on that in a moment). So the deal would look like this: Okafor ($13.5 mil) and Ariza ($7.7 mil) for Gasol ($19.3 mil).

Gasol's status is likely tied to what Dwight Howard does, leaving the Lakers in a state of uncertainty, vulnerability, and flux like rarely before for that organization. Coming off of a down, injury plagued season, the soon to be 33 year old Gasol's value is low right now around the league. So do you think that the Lakers would consider such an offer? Would you be inclinded to consider such an offer if you were running the Front Office of the Wizards ? How good would this team be next season under this scenario?

Wall, Maynor, Beal, Rice Jr., Porter, Webster, Singleton, Nene, Vesley, Booker, Gasol, Seraphin
