I thought this was pretty clear at last year's deadline. I understand the way we're all enamored to the possibility of teaming him up with Wall but its pretty clear the Kings have no intentions of trading him. Jason Jones tweeted this about a week ago that they don't have any intentions and that new ownership wants to meet with him. They have wanted to keep him as their franchise cornerstone for a while.
Most local writers have also repeatedly reported this apparently (according to Tom Ziller), so the whole idea that they've been putting him on the block is kind of a myth.
This is kind of a short fanpost, but just wanted to quell some trade ideas people have been having the past couple of days because they're kind of pointless.
