Billups ,Hamilton , Prince << Wall ,Beal , Porter

I Recently Read In the Washington post "

They have a chance to potentially be a slightly better version of Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince, a group that helped the Detroit Pistons win the 2004 NBA championship. Wall would be in the roles of scorer/playmaker, with Beal serving as sharp-shooter and Porter providing time as a defensive-minded wing who can occasionally run the team as a point forward."

And as i started thinking about this it is absolutely Right. Esp if you look at the team That Piston Team was.Stretch 4 with wallace (something we want) and a defensive Ace and rebounder in wallace. But let me focus on the pieces we currently have for the future . Wall, Beal, Porter.

Wall v.s Billups

We all kno that Billups was a student of the game and was a good shooter esp in big moments (big Shot billups) John is already on pace to be better then Billups was at this point in is his career. As optimistic as a John wall Fan as i am i kno its a stretch to ever think that he will be as good of a shooter as Billups was. But wall can very much be a much better player . His physical tools alone are very impressive . wall bigger faster jump higher. he is a freak at the position. still only 22 showing Leadership qualities already and becoming a fine young player. During the end of the year last yr showed his game come around making teams respect his shot or blowing by them and still creating for his teammates. So i think john can do will with being the play maker for this team and although he might not have the shooting ability that Billups was (yet) and may not ever be . but his Physical tools creating for his team and his Defense i think are better then Billups. and at 22 only gets better with time.

Beal V.S Rip

RIp was a very good catch and shoot player for the pistons during there champ yrs.High energy guy ran around a bunch of screens and was a knock down shooter gave Billups alot of assist. taller then Beal but i think beal is more of an athlete then Rip was Rip was more of a season shooter at the time and understood his role very well. but i would have to think that beal is a better shooter. coming out his first year he getting of to that start of being a better shooter . RIp not known for his pt shooting so much but was much better at getting his shot and making a high % of his shots. witch i think that Beal would get to As he gets older ( just turned 20 today "happy b day Mr beal") and i think that beal gets after it more on the defensive end and will be a better defender then Rip was. Asking alot maybe but i think its def possible. I Also Think that Beal will be better at creating his own shot. only time well tell.

Otto V.S Prince

Both tall lanky long defenders. who can guard multiple positions. closely when looking at just the basics. Prince stands at 6-9 and weighs 215 pounds while Porter is 6-8 and 198 pounds, but it i think that porter would be a better score i already think he can shoot with prince. but he is a better distributor of the ball and have more play making ability with plenty of chances to knock down 3's and make plays with john wall as is he PG. he will have to get stronger add a lil muscle wouldnt hurt and it def wont effect his game. Prince played this role at a championship level for a championship team porter and the wizards have to get to that.

So i think that yes Wall could be the roles of scorer/playmaker, Beal serving as sharp-shooter and Porter providing time as a defensive-minded wing who can occasionally run the team as a point forward" maybe even better then the pistons did with Billups, Prince and Rip

High hopes maybe so but what wizard fan dot think that john wall celling is higher then Billups or Bradley Beal celling is higher then Rip and Ppl already think that at worst Otto (safest pick in the draft) is Prince?? excpitations are in reach for the wizards to build a contending team for a while to go with this young core #WizKids ....cheers to the future
