Chad Ford on Otto Porter

I understand the knocks on Porter -- he's not an elite athlete nor does he have one elite skill. But I look at how young he is, his incredible progress and I would be really surprised if he didn't develop them down the road. The scouts that love Porter think he's got some Scottie Pippen in him. The scouts that don't think he's closer to Tayshaun Prince. I think he's closer to Pippen than Prince, and worthy of a top-three selection in this draft -- including the No. 1 pick if the Cavs decide to fill a need.

Chad Ford on ESPN Insider in the article "Who Should Go Number 1?" answering the question "Should Otto Porter Jr. be ranked ahead of Alex Len?"
