So... Zach Harper had some interesting things to say about Flip Saunder's press conference in Minnesota. Apparently, after the official Q and A, somebody brought up the Foye/Miller trade in a side discussion and Flip responded by saying that it was a cost-cutting measure. I personally hadn't heard that rationale before (I had always heard it was because they felt they were just a piece or two away from contention and wanted vets), so I thought I'd link it here. If this is right, then does it change how we look at Ernie's legacy at all? Another interesting tidbit - David Kahn supposedly approached the Wiz about a trade for Kevin Love. (?!?!?!) But there aren't any details as to when that happened or what he was looking for. The discussion of the foye/miller trade is at around the 23:00 mark of the podcast, the kevin love suggestion is at the 8:00 mark.
