Is Our Roster as good as it can get?

I know every team's ultimate goal is a championship but I would just love to see us in the playoffs. It is a shame that we won't be in this year since for the first time in years we probably are better than a few playoff teams. When I look at our line up I am thrilled with the team we have:

PG: John Wall - The Franchise and proving it this month
SG: Bradley Beal - A Legitimate Co-Star
SF: Martell Webster - That 3 and D guy we were hoping would find their way to the Wiz
PF: Nene - Brawler, classy vet, great D
C: Okafor - The professional, almost a double double guy (9.8 points 9 boards)

6th: Trevor Ariza - A legitimate 6th man
Bench: The rest of them - sub-par, limited skill role players / projects / etc.

WHATS THE POINT?

I don't think we have drawing power to attract a better team than what we have. It seems the formula for a championship is to become a good enough team to attract the vets to come play for charity (ie: Kidd, Billups, RayRay, etc.). With Wall wanting a max contract, and us needing to resign Webster with a raise, we will not have the cap to be better than this.

Sooo...

The goal next year should be getting past the first round of playoffs, not tying up our money (other than Wall), allowing Ariza and Okafor to walk or resign at a significant discount. Finally, we go for another big target after next season and hope we get some vets at a discount to fill out the bench.

Of course my pipe dream is landing an Al Jefferson or Kevin Love this off season, but it ain't going to happen and the draft is not going to bring much either...just sayin
