It doesn't sound like Bradley Beal will be in the lineup when the Wizards take on the Cavaliers on Tuesday.

It doesn't look like Bradley Beal will be in the lineup when the Washington Wizards take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, given the words of coach Randy Wittman. Beal did not practice Monday, and that leaves his status in doubt. Via Michael Lee of the Washington Post.

When asked to provide an update on Beal after Monday's practice, Coach Randy Wittman responded with a question that gave the answer.

"How do I know? He didn't practice," Wittman said with a laugh, before adding that Beal sitting out was "probably not" a good sign.

Beal himself said he was still "day to day," and Wittman did acknowledge that Beal could wake up tomorrow and feel better. But it seems like a safe bet that Beal will sit out. He has not played since suffering an ankle injury eight days ago against the 76ers.

Of course, that's not the biggest absence from tomorrow's game. Cavaliers' star Kyrie Irving will miss 3-4 weeks after suffering a shoulder injury against the Raptors.
