Revisiting Wall after Four Straight Losses

I love John Wall just as much as the next guy, but boy have we fallen off a cliff since that 6-4 run in January. Don't look now, kids, but the Boulez have lost four in a row!

Just to re-cap, the Wizzies beat the Thunder without Wall, and then our miracle month really blossamed. We beat Atlanta, Orlando, Denver, Portland, Minnesota and Chicago. Not a bad group of teams ... um ... Denver is pretty good and Chicago is pretty good even though they were missing two starters. But I digress!

We were on Cloud Nine. We were talking about the playoffs, as minut as the chance was that we made it. And then ... doom. I won't even talk about those frustrating games against Sacramento and Utah in the January run, because they should have won those.

Then the bottom fell out. Beal got hurt. We have lost the last four and I am pretty sure we will get creamed tonight. That's SacTown, Memphis, Philly and San Antonio. Two are very good teams, but we barely had a chance against them.

So here's the question: What does this return to dismal play say about John Wall, if anything? And a poll question. What does Wall have to do, and the team have to do, for him to justify a max contract? I don't think he's there yet.
