The Wizards have traded Jordan Crawford to the Boston Celtics, according to a report.

The ongoing Jordan Crawford saga is now over. The Wizards have moved on from their high-scoring, shot-jacking young guard, sending him to the Boston Celtics, according to NBA.com's David Aldridge.

Previous reports suggested that Fab Melo would be the main piece coming back to the Wizards, but Aldridge reports that is not the case. The Dallas Mavericks were also rumored to be on Crawford, but their interest backed off near the end of the deadline.

Thus ends the saga of Crawford's unceremonious exit from D.C. The Wizards' guard starred in December, but saw his value tank as he struggled defensively and with his shot selection. Crawford picked up DNP-CDs in the last five games and launched his jersey into the crowd following the Wizards' loss to the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday. It seems clear that the Wizards wanted to rid themselves of him no matter what ended up coming back.
