Crawford "trade" hurting us

I know that Jordan Crawford wasn't the best player ever, but can anyone deny that he's better than Maynor and Temple? Maybe he wasn't Witt's or EG's cup of tea, but how can you trade his particular level of talent for nothing at all? And that little bit of cap space means nothing, especially since we signed Maynor, who, at best, is good for pushing the ball around.

Crawford was a good scorer and he had some good passing skills as well, which enabled him to play both PG and SG. And again, if you had to trade him, you should have made sure that we got something in return.

Also, wouldn't Shannon Brown have looked good coming off our bench, at least compared to what we have now? We basically have zero backups for Wall and Beal worth anything, which is obviously why they play so many minutes. This could become a major issue as the season progresses, if it isn't already. I would much rather have Crawford and Brown coming off the bench than Maynor and Temple. They're not perfect by any means, but any opponent would fear Crawford or Brown a hell of a lot more. When Maynor or Temple enter, all the opponents feel is relief.
