Magical Pixels, Wizards vs. Mavericks: Trevor Ariza shows up and...Bueller?

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Wizards lost to the Dallas Mavericks on the road last night. Trevor Ariza led the Wizards with a game-high 27 points. These things might be related.

I guess Trevor Ariza reads Keys to the Palace, eh? Too bad he broke out of a recent, albeit brief offensive funk in a losing effort as the Washington Wizards fell to 0-2 on their current road trip with a 105-95 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Too bad, because everything started out great against the Mavs...

But the fast start didn't last very long.

And Kevin Seraphin, well, he was was was in prime #SeraphinLife.

The Mavs were able to pull within one by the end of the first quarter, and things only went downhill from there.

Time for a brief "Al Harrington makes us smile" interlude.

Ah, that was fun. Back to the carnage.

Eff everything.

*Gulp* Did things get any better in the second half?

So not really. How'd that fourth quarter go?

Woof is right.

Can't bear to watch your handiwork, eh Ernie? #cheapshot

How's the big picture look?

So bad, but not hopeless? #graspingpixels

*DRINK*

Now that we've drowned our sorrows with some drink, let's rejuvenate them with some Wiz-Mavs recaps.
