So with the obvious injury concerns regarding Singleton, Booker and Okafor, I've heard a lot of discussion revolving around Serephin's opportunity to start at the 5.
Now during those few weeks last season prior to JW's return when Kevin was filling the stat sheet consistently I found myself advocating him as the young piece we needed to preserve and procure. Now thankfully Beal is our man (and I couldn't be happier).
But as I brush over Euroleague posts and various draft videos of the air wolf there is a small cavity in my chest that has caused me much affliction over the last 8 weeks. I can't shake this underlying feeling that Jan's upside is still, somehow, worth the potential anguish and torment from my mates and the league. The guy is 7 foot, can flat out run, and lord knows he can rattle the rim when he is feeling it!!

With Nene being our rock in the front court I really want Wittman to show Vesely some faith and let him figure it out. Serephin doesn't pair well with Nene and has proved to me atleast to fair as a passable backup. As a passionate Wizards fan I can't bare to send him packing like McGee, Young or Blatche to watch them knuckle down (to varying degrees) and make other teams better. I know we can't have a guy play 25 minutes of lack luster offense paired with bad fouls, but if shown a little more support from fans and the team I am hoping to see an improvement.
I'd love to hear your thoughts guys!
P.s Flying over from Australia to see my first Wizards game vs the Clippers, cannot wait!
