Tonight, the Wizards' prodigal son, Andray Blatche makes his return to the Verizon Center for the first time since he was amnestied this summer. However, unlike the prodigal son, the Wizards probably won't be welcoming home with open arms and preparing the fatted calf to celebrate (unless you count Chipotle).

The Wizards who were around when Blatche was still in Washington understand how tense things could get tonight. Trevor Booker had this to say about what he expects for Friday's game:

"Probably a lot of boos," he said. "I heard they got extra security over on his bench, just in case somebody wants to throw stuff. So I don't know how true that is."

Booker then joked, "I hope he makes it out alive."

Mike Mazzeo is reporting that the Wizards haven't actually hired any extra security for tonight's game, so Blatche is on his own tonight. Seems like Blatche isn't too worried though:

Meanwhile, Wizards' radio man Glenn Consor had an interesting idea on how Wizards fans should handle things tonight:

Honestly, isn't a bad idea (seriously!) but Blatche, like the rest of us, knows that won't happen.
