Right now his game to me reminds me a little bit of Marcus Thorton's. Except for Beal is a better passer than Thorton. Or Maybe even in Arron Afflalo except at this point Arron is a better defender. Hopefully he ends up being better than both of these players.

I had my doubts early on in the season but, now I think he is a keeper. I had to remind myself that not every rookie starts fast right out the gates. Part of it was that I really wanted Barnes on draft night mostly because I knew that he had NBA size. However I believe that Beal has more upside, he is more athletic and has the ability to be a better playmaker/ all around player. He needs to contunue believing in himself and understanding that he belongs in this league. Continue to work on his handles and attack the basket more.
