With our favorite Washington Wizards out of the 2012 Olympic competition, I decided not to put up a Russia-Spain thread earlier. Probably a mistake on my part, given how that game went, but for those wondering, that's why I passed on it. In any event, here is the place to discuss Team USA as they take on Argentina in the semifinals at 4 p.m. on NBC Sports Network.

The winner will face Spain after they gutted out a 67-59 win over Russia in the semifinals. That game has really been the story of the tournament for Spain. Every time you think they're too old or too banged-up to make it this far, they reach back and have a little in reserve to pull through. If Team USA can top Argentina, they'll have a tough game on their hands against a Spain team that will have a lot of pride.

But, of course, Team USA has to beat Argentina too, and last I checked, they're pretty full of pride. We'll see how this plays out.
