Alright so this guys O.J Mayo is going to be a free agent. Wizards need someone to help John Wall. Obviously Jordan Crawford CAN be good but he ball hogs too much and tries to do everything for himself. I would much rather come him from the bench to help out the wizards. Obviously the draft is coming up and a lot of mocks have the Wizards taking either Thomas Robinson a D.C Native which can give a lot of hype in D.C and one of the most safest pick or Michael Kidd-Gilchrist who has strong leadership, can score, rebound, defend and went to the Kentucky which John Wall attended as a freshmen. When O.J Mayo declared for the draft there was so much hyped and have been a scorer but it didn't turn out like that. It was all Rudy Gay, Randolph. There was no Mayo and was left out and didn't live up to the hype. The wizards already got John Wall so no need for a PG but he needs help. Crawford does no good. Singleton is a freak at defense but not so much on offense. Vesely wasn't really worth of a 6th pick I wold have picked Kawhi Leonard over him and Nene can play so the Center is good but SG,SF,PF is an issue. Hopefully the wizards will be smart and pick T-ROB or MKG.
O.J Mayo fits with the Wizards and can help Wall and Nene big time.He can help the Wizards with the SG problem and Crawford wont help unless if he comes off the bench. O.J Mayo is Extremely talented lead guard who routinely makes highlight plays Possesses great all around skills A fierce competitor. Plays the game with a tremendous amount of confidence, desire and intensity The game comes very easily to him. His feel for the game is advanced for a high school level player Strong one on one player with creative drives to the basket Has legitimate lead guard skills, with a yo yo handle, and solid passing ability Has the go-to scoring ability to take over late in games Plays a very physical style and loves to take the ball to the hole Very strong physically, able to overpower most point guards Prone to big scoring outbursts A strong defender who can become a lock down type of defender with his great reflexes and foot speed Shoots well from outside, setting up his dribble drive His first step off the dribble is off the charts.
This can solve the one of the Problems for the Wizards. If right now the wizards got Mayo and Robinson in the draft that would help a lot and I mean a lot. 1.Wall 2.Mayo 3.Singleton 4.Robinson 5.Nene. Think about its not that bad by having these guys starting. Wall have more people to pass to and rely on. Mayo will start all over with washington and try to be something that people expected him to be. Singleton is really REALLY defensive minded and give him another year and hopefully he will improve. Robinson will be dangerous and him and John Wall will be exciting to watch and Nene can play and make points.
If they get MKG instead the lineup will turn out like this 1. Wall 2. Mayo 3. MKG 4. Vesely 5. Nene. Wall can help out MKG both have been a wildcat in their lives and both for only one year. Mayo will solve the SG in Washington and will be dangerous. MKG shows really good leadership, score, really defensive minded and for a SF he can rebound. 4. Vesely will be exciting to watch this coming season after he learned how it was like being in the U.S playing ball and score and dunk. Nene is good and a lot better than McGee.
You tell me is this a good idea?
