There are some interesting perspectives in here. I'm not shy about loving this idea. If the Wizards are absolutely in love with somebody at the 3rd pick then by all means they should use it. But what if they have 85% as much love for a guy who will be there at 6 and 75% as much love for a player who should be there at #11? That's like 160% lovejuice and this team needs juice as much as if the starting lineup was PG- Floyd Landis SG- Jose Canseco SF- Sammy Sosa PF- The Ultimate Warrior C- Macho Man Randy Savage, Bench - The Cast Of The Jersey Shore.
Where was(am?) I? Oh yes. Is there a combination of players likely available with the 6th & 11th pick who could cause you to abandon your choice at #3? And if not- what if the Bobcats took your preferred Future Wizard with the 2nd pick? Would you prefer the 6&11 to your second and third choices with the 3rd pick?
I'm hoping that the Wizards don't discount this kind of situation out of hand. Let's hope they do their homework and work out everyone they can.
