i would like to say that barnes is unfairly judged by everyone. he is knocked for not being the type of player Carmelo or durant was in college. when in fact is no to many sg/sm since durant to take over the college level.

we praise MKG but what other player to come out of of college who was just a good defender and a high motor guy with a poor jump shoot who was worth a 3rd pick...?...barnes is an elite shooter and plays solid D and even tho he might not be no MKG he is solid fast break player with solid rebound numbers.

Beal is pose to be this great shooter but Barnes has better % in fact when it comes to shooting 3's (beal-339 barnes- 358). and his 6'8 long arm frame is more versatile player we can use .

ppl judge barnes for not taking over games and not being this great scorer when beal wasnt even the leading scorer on his team and mkg was on all team with all 1st round draft picks so can judge them off this same criteria??

Barnes is one of just six players in North Carolina history to average at least 15 points as a freshman and sophomore. he's a tough cover because he can score such a variety of ways

This is what the wizards need a 6'8 scorer (once scoring 40 in a game )who can fill it up any given night who plays solid D. and Barnes is that guy.
