This draft class is LOADED with talent. According to the Toronto Star, Raptors GM Colangelo has expressed his great interest in trading his draft picks this year to land a quality player to make the jump into the playoffs next season. Given the Wizards have many needs, especially at Shooting Guard and Small Forward, the Wizards have a perfect opportunity to make a trade to get rid of Blatche or Lewis (in addition to another team) and land the 8th pick in the draft. Obviously, John Wall and Nene are the untouchables but Jordan Crawford or Kevin Seraphin can easily become perfect trade bait. This pick could end up being SG Jeremy Lamb or another big time talent the Wizards need, thus allowing the Wizards to shy away from under-sized Bradley Beal and let them pick Michael Kidd-Glichrist. With the addition of this 8th pick, the Wizards could easily address their top two position needs in top 10 picks of this deep draft pool.
What do you think? Should they trade or not?
