Did Ernie Grunfield telegraph that he likes Bradley Beal to be the Wizrds pick two weeks before the draft?
I am just finding it hard to believe that a GM would be so stupid. Of course, this is under the assumption that Bradley Beal is #2 on the Wizards draft board.
It appears that a majoriy of the NBA Front Offices think Beal is the 2nd best player in a very good and deep draft. That says alot about Beal.
I thought the trade was a smokescreen to get Thomas Robinson, and then trade Booker for a 2 Guard. My hope is that Ernie has done his due dilligence that the player he likes will be there at #3. I am less confident today.
If we end up trading out of #3 because our GM did the most unthinkable act of telling the world who he would like to take in the draft, then someone has to pay for it.
Either Grundfield has to go or Ted needs to sell because his judge of front office staff is costing the team and their fans.
