Assuming we take Beal depth looks like this
PG: Wall/Mack
SG:Crawford/Beal
Sf: Ariza/Vess/Singleton
PF: NeNe/Booker
C: Seraphin/Okafor
This Decreases the chances of bringing James Singleton back...
Cartier Martin will get his shot to compete for the 3rd spot at SG
Also Increases the chances the Blatche is done
So What now? I Didnt watch Beal a lot and not sure if he is capable of running the 1 at all..I know Crawford (The Gunner) isn't as of right now?
Do we draft a another PG or SG or a guy that may be able to play a little of both? Or do we look for a prospect to sit at the end of the bench until he is ready . Like we did Seraphin.. Do we trade it and Sign Roger Mason back who before getting hurt was shooting the ball pretty well.
Options I'm Seeing right now
1.John Jenkins of Vandy . a Pure scorer.. Not sure if he can play the one at all..But can shoot the basketball..
2. Kim English of Missouri A nice catch and shoot stroke. Who doesn't need to dribble to score...also good height a 6'6 Guard
3. T Taylor of Kansas.. An explosive point guard who also has a descent shot. Mack is very slow paced offense orientated. A guy to keep the pace up when wall is out and can cut to the basket in a half court offense and score may be an asset.
4. Hollis Thompson 6'8 SG. Im a Georgetown fan and this guy is NBA Ready. He doesnt take bad shots and a 3 pointer is almost like a FT to this kid. The problem he had in college is he doesnt look to take over a game and he was suppose to be one of the leaders. He very unselfish . the reason its not a flaw on this team because we don't need him to be we just need him to knock down shots and use that 6'8 frame defensively. Man on man guarding he may struggle a little . but filling up passing lanes he does very well.
Honorable Mention: Lamb of kentucky may be sitting around at number 32 and Tu Halloway of Xavier
Any more? Lets talk
