Michael Beasley: Free Agent SF

In discussing potential free agent "wing" players, I have seen a lot of unrealistic discussion of Nicolas Batum and Eric Gordon. Blazers and Hornets are going to match whatever is offered them. Guys like Ray Allen, Ersan Ilyasova, and Jeff Green will probably all have the option of signing with contenders.

My question is: why not consider Michael Beasley? With Young, McGee, and (hopefully) Blatche gone in the near future - we should have a relatively stable group of players that may be able to rein in the eccentric Beasley. Maybe not.

What is indisputable is that the guy can get buckets and board, and is much, much better than our current starter Chris Singleton. Given that this is home, if and when the Timberwolves decide not to extend him a qualifying offer, I would definitely consider bringing in the uber-talented, 23-yr old Beasley (hopefully for a hometown discount).

Thoughts? Are there any other SF's out there (not including MKG) that we could realistically get with any where near his talent?
