It is the end of the season which marks the point where the Bullets Forever community get to weigh in on how well they think each Wizards player did over the course of the the abbreviated 2011-12 season. Each player is rated on the 1-10 scale. Next up: Morris Almond
Morris Almond failed to capture the attention of other Wizards D-League notables such as Alonzo Gee or Othyus Jeffers. This isn't necessary Almond's fault, he just never got a chance to show what he could do during a period where the Wizards lineup finally gelled into a cohesive whole. So instead of trying to write something up that would belittle or exaggerate the accomplishments of Mr. Almond, I instead present to you the following PSA.
An ancestor of stone fruits such as nectarines, peaches, plums and cherries, the almond is categorized botanically as a fruit. The almond fruit grows on trees closely resembling peach trees in size and shape, and has a tough gray-green hull that looks similar to an elongated peach. At maturity, the hull splits opento reveal the almond shell, which encloses the nut.
Almond Health Benefits
Eating a daily handful of almonds a day may lower LDL, or "bad" cholesterol. In a clinical trial published in the American Heart Association's journal Circulation, men and women who ate one daily ounce of almonds for a month lowered their LDL cholesterol by 4.4 percent. Those who ate two daily ounces of almonds lowered their LDL cholesterol even more - by 9.4 percent - and maintained their weight.

Bold Prediction No. 2: Most people prefer cashews to almonds. These people are wrong.
