If you were hoping to see Trevor Booker return to the court in the near future, your hopes are probably dashed. Michael Lee of the Washington Post reports that Booker suffered a setback on his plantar fasciitis during a workout and will likely be out "a little longer" than just this week.

Nene is still hoping to return at some point this week, but Trevor Booker could be out a while longer after aggravating his left foot injury doing individual drills. Andray Blatche and Rashard Lewis are both longshots to return.

With just 10 games to go and the Wizards not going anywhere, I wouldn't be surprised to see Booker be shut down for the season. There's no sense in playing hurt at this point. At least with Nene, the games are valuable to develop some chemistry with John Wall, especially on the pick and roll. What's there left for Booker to prove anymore this season?
