Well, that was something. The Wizards crushed the Bobcats 101-73, securing their first four-game win streak since John Wall has been in D.C., as reported by Verizon Center house D.J. Big Tigger. Good lord!

Washington has second worst record in the NBA this season. At times, watching this team has been frustrating and the future has seemed murky. Let us remember: at least Washington is not Charlotte!

Bigger Than The Game News: Ernie Grunfeld will return as general manager for the Wizards for at least more than one year, as first reported by The Washington Post's Michael Lee. Mr. Prada wrote a bunch of words about this, so go read those.

Some quick notes after the jump. I'm running downstairs for postgame. Talk amongst yourselves.

• John Wall got whatever he wanted against the Bobcats, especially in the first half when he had 12 points, nine assists and four rebounds before the break. Remember how good John Wall looked in college when he was just more athletic than everyone and that was enough? Well Charlotte looked like an NCAA defense. Forget "Could Kentucky beat the Bobcats?" I ask: "Could Western Kentucky beat the Bobcats?"

• Somehow, Jordan Crawford managed to compile two points, (on 1-of-8 shooting), one assist and zero rebounds in 20 minutes of this slaughterhouse.

Jan Vesely made all eight of his field goal attemps for a career high 16 points (to which he added six rebounds). Vesely's progress has been quiet, but it's definitely there.
