We are currenlty locked into having the second best chance at landing the #1 pick overall (20% chance). We have a 40% chance (I think) to landing the #2 pick. So there is a very good chance we will get either pick. This topic is about what the Wizards management should do IF we land either or those picks.
As of right now, those two picks are most likely going to be Davis and Robinson, in that order. Both are slated to play the PF position. The Wizards right now are seeing the emergence of Kevin Seraphin who seems to have a bright future who is also playing the PF position. Right now, we have three solid peices (Wall, Seraphin and Nene). Nothing more. We still need a starting two and a three. If we land the #1 pick or the #2 pick, which could happen, I think we should either trade down, trade out, or trade Seraphin. I would rather round out our starting lineup before we start looking to create depth at one position, in this case I am referring to having Seraphin and Davis/Robinson. All three of them are starters, and shouldn't be coming off the bench. Lets shoot to grab starters that we need with these assets that we have. What do others think?
