So awhile back I wrote a post saying it wouldn't be terrible if the Three Burritoes were backups on this team. The problem was they were starters because we had nothing better. Well, the dust is settling on that debate as two of the big three have been shipped out (and been relegated to their proper positions on better teams).

But what to do about 7 Day Dray?

I will probably be in the minority opinion on this, but why not keep him? His floor is a good bench guy, and his ceiling is a starter at the 4 or 5 depending on what you need. He is a veteran, albeit an immature one. If he comes into training camp looking good, why not keep him?

The conventional wisdom on here is that he will be amnestied, but we haven't really revisited the question knowing that he has been shut down to get in shape. I think he will be humbled by this and work hard to stay in the league, but that's just me.
