After last night
I was just searching for something, anything, to feel good about. So I just watched the Jeremy Lin highlights.
Can someone please explain to me
When the heck our first round picks are going to start making a substantial impact? So frustrating to see them be so mediocre at best.

Some break...
Today is just a reminder of how my favorite football team Redskins is as horrible as the Wizards. Thankfully I’ll have the NCAA Tournament, but oh wait my team is the Terps. OK at least I have the World Series, but alas my team is the Orioles.
I give up.

I have to say
The Redskins are one good free agency period and draft class away from competing the Wiz should take notes on how to scout players, Kerrigan was a steal we got him and a draft pick from Jaguars for the rights to draft Blaine Gabbert. At a performance level Redskins are so far ahead of the Bullets.
Skins need a QB...
I agree they have drafted better as of late. However they need a QB and that is always a tall order to meet but hopefully they can get it done.
As for comparing the Skins rebuild to the Wizards I don’t think it is fair analysis at this point. The Wizards are less then a season into the rebuild where as the Skins are entering year 3.

Differences between the sports in terms of rebuilds . . .
as well.
e.g. the draft is important in both leagues, but in the NFL you can find franchise caliber talent in later rounds (e.g. Manning top overall pick, Brady a late round pick — in the NBA how many times does this happen, if ever? The Brady pick is akin to finding gold in the late part of the second round in the NBA draft). In the NBA, a few gems fall outside of the lottery, but usually there’s a pretty good sense about who the elite of the elite are once they enter the draft. A lot more luck of the draw too as far as the NBA goes (e.g. not only landing a high pick, but landing a high pick in the right year). There’s a lot more parity in the NFL too, not just in the way the league is organized, but based on the fact that there are separate offensive and defensive units with 11 players in each unit (plus special teams).
if the skins aren't in thw super bowl
I don’t care that much even with a party at my place.

I'm sick of seeing John Wall toss a perfect pass to a team mate with a wide open shot
who instead of taking the wide open shot, dribbles over to the nearest defender to miss a contested shot.
The last game was so painful to watch. It looked like amatures playing pros. Our guys were spectators instead of participants, watching the Clippers play decent basketball.
The Wizards looked like they’ve never practiced togather or even played togather.
I feel sorry for Wall, turns out his high speed, weak finish isn’t that big of a threat. You can tell He’d love to have a shot but certain things like that you have to be born with. In other words shooters are born and not made.
The Wizard’s have built their team on the theory of draft on potential instead of resume.
Picking a Kwame Brown and hoping he develops is the same a picking an Andrey Blatch and even John Wall was picked due to a percieved ceiling and tons of Hype.

Yeah but all the Giants had to do was stall time out when they got in FG range
I knew the game was over than. If you wan’t an real exciting SB, just look back at Steelers vs. Cardinals a few years back. Now that was a game!

if brady's first pass is caught on their final drive
they’re at NY’s 40 at least with 50 seconds to go. Wasn’t over.

last years was terrible
but i cant see how you thought last nights was boring…. Another ridiculous throw/catch involving manning to beat brady. How does that not make for a good story? It was almost exactly a mirror of their last superbowl.
