James Anderson an option?
http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/02/21/report-spurs-james-anderson-requests-trade/
Today, there has been info reporting that James Anderson has requested a trade, due to lack of minutes
"Sources say James Anderson’s agent this month encouraged Spurs to trade his client. Nothing offered would have been better than JA Monday."
Does anybody think that he would fill a need on the Wizards, or be a good "Nick Young is leaving" insurance?
He might be able to fill the hole that the Wizards have at SF, with the occasional spot at the 2
Thoughts and opinions on trade scenarios?

Earlier reports said the Spurs had shopped him around before declining his 3rd year.
That would of been the ideal time to get him because of the extra year. I doubt he can be effectively evaluated now.
He'll be a FA
and i hope we have some interest. he can score, hit 3’s and plays decent defense. He’s only in his second year. But if we’re going after a Spur I’d rather have Danny Green (restricted).
From Hollinger
Danny Green, San Antonio: Green spent two years wandering the NBA desert, including being cut by the Cavs and Spurs. On Sunday, he spent the entire fourth quarter and overtime guarding Chris Paul in one of the biggest games of the week. Taking advantage of an opening created by Manu Ginobili’s injury, Green has used his defense, rebounding ability and 3-point shot to bull his way into the starting lineup and establish himself as a keeper. His development, in turn, is one of many reasons the Spurs are riding a league-best 11-game winning streak even with Ginobili barely participating.
Yes!
The kid can score and was one of the best 3-point shooters coming out of John Wall’s draft class.
TNT should've treated Lebron's return to Cleveland game like 2k11 and cut the game off after the Cavs were down by 30. lol
You never know, he could end up being our shooting guard of the future.

I honestly dont see Grunfeld making any deals
Wouldn’t be suprised if other GMs are tired of his low-balling tactics…
We should definitely take a look at this kid
He was a big-time scorer in college. I thought he would have been better right out the gate in his pro career, but I believe he struggled with injuries last year. I don’t know why he can’t get off the bench.

man
he really struggled last night. Most of the Spurs did without Duncan, Parker and Ginobli, but yeesh he really struggled.
Yeah
I didn’t watch the game, but I heard he had a -37 in -/+! That’s REALLY bad.

+/- doesn't bother me
Short-handed doesn’t even begin to describe them last night. No one had a decent +/- when you lose by 40. Portland was also white hot, hitting 8 3’s in the first QUARTER. What bothered me was his 2-12 shooting.
