Hayward has had a few good games of late...can't let him
go Batum on us…
I want to see a good night from Singleton.
Great Sing.
Next time, step half step back and make it a 3.
Need to be more careful with the ball
can’t pass it to a Jzz player
have a seat sir...
he didn’t even get back…
I suspect he is going to have a chance to contemplate his shot from the bench….
damnit if I have to watch rashard laughing
And goofing around with the players on other teams anymore….all night t staples that’s all he did while he was on the court. So annoying.

We look like a tired team
Shots are short. (and airballs)
We are playing like our old selves....back to hero ball...
and tired with a bunch of shots way short
Well it's kind of his fault
For playing the starters too many minutes the last couple of games.

John needs to go on the offensive to keep us in this temporarily
This is one of those moments where he needs to choose to take over…
Or we could feed JaVale.

What happened?
I went upstairs to print something, checked the score and we were down by 12! Come on Wizards! You can do this!!!!!
Long-Time Wizard Fan
Have I mentioned how awful Jordan Crawford's shooting mechanics are?
Formerly know as iNFamous SWaGG
that doesnt matter
all guys have their own mechanic, it may not be ideal but thats not something to worry abt, esp since he isnt getting his shots blocked
It's impossible to be a good shooter
When you’re kicking your feet out 4 ft. into the year. He shoots like an elementary school kid.

Favors is such a blackhole
He’s even worse than JaVale in that regard.

strong work by Vesely on the offensive glass
Against the muscle of Favors and Kanter
by goober nackulum on Feb 17, 2012 9:41 PM EST reply actions
i wish vesely would take a shot at least once in awhile
i’d like to see what it looks like. can’t be that bad
and he sees a big body all of a sudden
(nothing like a skinny McGee or Jan)
this team is frustrating to watch its obvious why we struggle not moving the ball but
we hardly act like it matters and guys keep firing.
Melo effect
The thought of him going to be ready to play soon scared the team.
Jefferson killing the Wiz
Homer utah announcers. Yuck

Man.
It seems like it happens against good competition he was outplayed by Jordan again and, the other Centers he faced the last week have been average to say the least.
by p.robb87 on Feb 17, 2012 10:15 PM EST via mobile up reply actions
Jordan outplayed him?
I didn’t see the 2nd half of the last game, but from the stats, it seems the other way around.
Formerly know as iNFamous SWaGG
That's the point you are looking at stats.
Like I have been saying McGee struggles against legitimate big man so what he scored 18 pts, dude only grab’s 6 reb’s and that’s a good game from your Center, he get’s manhandled against real competition. Those other games where he had great games in the past week were against average Centers go figure.

We need to go back to JaVale so al is forced to work on both ends of the floor...
Don’t like Randy’s gameplan at all…

This is where the team could use Blatche
to put him on Jefferson
by hambonejackson on Feb 17, 2012 10:09 PM EST reply actions
Blatche has the length and muscle
for these types of players
by hambonejackson on Feb 17, 2012 10:12 PM EST up reply actions
I will say this.
When you have somebody going off in the paint like Jefferson, it’s weaksides help fault as in the wing player and the other big man I.e. Javale has to come over and alert the look at the basket and Wall, Young, and Crawford have to play the passing lane when Jefferson looks to pass. #Team defense
by p.robb87 on Feb 17, 2012 10:21 PM EST via mobile up reply actions
what does weakside help have to do with Jefferson hitting right hooks over the top
and outside shots. When someone is hitting their hook shot it is tough to defend but the best you can do is not give them good position close to the basket and play their right side hard and make them beat you left.
Uhhh a lot
When McGee has the length to alter a hookshot maybe, I mean he’s the leading blocker in the NBA remember what a lot of you point to.
by p.robb87 on Feb 17, 2012 10:32 PM EST via mobile up reply actions
well then McGee should be on Jefferson
weakside help is meant for when someone is beat and there is no more defenders between the ball and the basket. If McGee came over to contest all the way out to where Jefferson was making shots while there is already someone in front of Jefferson: 1. he can’t cover that much ground to really contest and 2. it puts way to much pressure on the whole defense to cover that much ground on rotations
If you want help on a post man then it needs to be a double team as soon as Jefferson catches it and that needs to come from one of the wing players.
How is he too far from the basket.
When he is pratmctically backing his man down and giving a little baby hookshot, I think I am watching the same game, and like I said once Jefferson is in the air McGee can come over from off his man which pretty much be the last defender at the basket he can alter the shot, then the wing defender’s would have to rotate on the wing to recover after someone comes down from the wing to front McGee’s man.
by p.robb87 on Feb 17, 2012 11:14 PM EST via mobile up reply actions
so you want two people contesting
that’s a disaster for a defense…. when you have a big man going off on you in the post and you want to put a stop to that, you double as soon as he touches it.
you can rip JaVale for a number of things but that was not on him
Its a joke
MrMichaelLee: John Wall on going 12th in Rising Star Challenge draft: “It’s a joke to me…I’m more focused on the season than I am about that.” #wizards

drop step, left handed finish
very impressive…
Gotta get those rebounds though

i think i saw vesely start to move towards to ball on offense last time
then changed his mind
Hey, at least we've held Jefferson scoreless in the 2nd half
for the 1st 3 minutes anyway

said something to the effect ’i’m not a hero. a hero is a janitor that takes care of his family’…
We are falling apart
may as well play Mo, Mason Jr, Mack and Seraphin now.

Wizards are gassed from the road trip and the altitude
Cassell and Wittman may need to suit up and sub in… Don Zierden too.

wow Ves shot a jumper
anyone alittle disturbed that Ves says he wants to play like Dirk but has a game so far from where Dirk is as a player.
its almost as bad as Crawfords comments about MJ
It's very different
I want to play like Dirk.
vs.
I am better than MJ (something like that).
i think it kinda funny that he's so reluctant to shoot
guess he’s not hanging out with young, crawford, or singleton
Wall has gotta be a better leader gotta be a distributor and gota get guys to passing
and he must identify whats working for us and stick with it. Mcgee shoulda had 30 himself.
Where's Nick Young?
Has he even been in this quarter?
by goober nackulum on Feb 17, 2012 10:42 PM EST reply actions
JaVale needs to pass that new inhaler of his around and give everyone a hit
The whole team looks hypoxic right now
by goober nackulum on Feb 17, 2012 10:46 PM EST reply actions
Shame we aren't playing annnny defense
Becuase John went sort of nuts to end that quarter
by DCeee on Feb 17, 2012 10:46 PM EST via mobile reply actions
Why is Wall still in?
Is Wittman trying to pad his stats or something?

better try to score before they get there

They both have a +/- of -17
maybe that’s why they are sitting.
Wizznutzz just tweeted
What’s the longest a top 10 draft pick went into a season without hitting a single jumpshot(with poorer grammar obviously)?
Looking at you Vesely…

and getting killed on the defensive end?
can’t rebound. How many offensive rebound he gives the Jazz.
I thought JaVale looked good out there
Scored points with both hands, set picks, moved the ball.
Maybe he could’ve rebounded better, but I don’t think Jefferson’s scoring was his fault- the guy was just in a zone

JaVale has never set a screen.

everybody is
except Wall,Mcgee and Book
by KurisuDevil on Feb 17, 2012 11:13 PM EST up reply actions
Book only logged in 26 min.
We have not played well as a team.
Some good shooting from Wall and Crawford, Jan also had a relatively good game.
No McGee is too.
Me personally don’t care for stats if you lost cause obviously it wasn’t enough. To me and I said me because I know there will be some that don’t agree, but McGee is not the answer for the second night in a row against a legitimate big man he struggled to do what his position asks of him to do and that’s rebound, box out, and play tough down low and he got man handled. That’s a big problem from the guy who is suppose to be your center of the future.
by p.robb87 on Feb 17, 2012 11:24 PM EST via mobile up reply actions
Agree. We don't have big bodies to play againt this Jazz team
Booker only made 1 shot late in 4th quarter.
The old Celtics
were a very successful team because the found out what players could do best and had them do it. Mel Counts was a successful player for them. We traded for Counts and tried to make him a traditional center. He failed miserably. McGee is not a traditional center, you will never successfully make him one.
