when JaVale really digs in there and established position in the post he's much for effective.
I hate his 10 ft hook shot

He needs to improve his handle
So he can back down smaller 3’s. And he needs to become at least a passable spot-up shooter.

I think the confidence in his offense flows from what he is allowed to do on defense
and the refs are not allowing him to do anything right now

Jeez.
Wall to McGee is so easy and nice.

Pistons are laughably bad on D
which is weird for a coach who sat under Doc Rivers….just goes to prove, just cuz u learned under a great coach doesnt mean it transfers
Frank just wasnt some coach under Doc
He was already established in the league

Again, why do Wall and McGee not have more chemistry.... they are made for eachother fysically

my take is that McGee is allergic to touching the guy he's supposed to be picking

If the 2010 draft were held again:
1. Cousins
2. Lin
3. Monroe
4. Wall
Am I wrong??

If you are starting from scratch based on builder a champ
DMC
Monroe
Wall
Lin is top ten, maybe a top 5, but depends on the team. You usually do not start with a PG that does not have all world upside
by les boulez bomber on Feb 12, 2012 7:50 PM EST up reply actions
Monroe has two pg and prince to break down defenses and feed him
cousins has no pg, no one really. he does it on his own. evans is an iso two guard
same production, plus leadership, and as expected, less efficient than monroe
by les boulez bomber on Feb 12, 2012 7:53 PM EST up reply actions
1. Wall
2. Monroe, closer than I’d like, seeing as Wall is on my team.
3…. who cares….

always start big if their is a franchise guy. you can always find a good pg
how many good young pgs are there?
how many good centers?
its not about wall v dmc. they both will be multiple all stars. it is about franchise center v franchise pg

Pistons go on a run
Wall’s response: three-point play, steal, pitch ahead to Young for a jumper, rebound, floater

From 2 points down to an 8 point lead in 2 minutes
I used to have super powers until my psychiatrist took them away.
am i completely insane to think that the wizards are just a good/ solid starting SF
away from being like a 5 or 6 seed in the east. Because the SF position has not done anything this season, if we upgraded that position I think we’d be much more competitive.
YES
We need a front court. That is what is killing us. Who is driving detroit, Monroe or Prince
by les boulez bomber on Feb 12, 2012 7:57 PM EST up reply actions
but to your point, we need to upgrade our shooting
that is not that hard to do. no one gives up a francise front court player unless that player forces a trade. and when that happens, you get a boat load in return
by les boulez bomber on Feb 12, 2012 7:57 PM EST up reply actions
I'm not even talking about a franchise player
but someone like a trevor ariza, or a shooter at the SF position, would help the team a lot

Booker always so efficient offensively...
And great defensively….
Good on the boards too….
I used to have super powers until my psychiatrist took them away.
Like others have been saying...Wall's jumper has been great for a short stretch of games here...
Wonder if he can keep it up though. He hasn’t been shooting them much, but when he has, he’s been making them. I remember Mike posted a number the other day that was impressive.
Hope he continues to hit on them. He could be such a dominant point guard with a jumper…

signing in first time
great game by everyone not named crawford or sing
Wall has played well
But really this is a product of taking what the defense has given him, and Walker Russell has given him the world on a silver platter

Best game of the year
When JVM is given opps within 5 feet of the basket, you can see the impact he can have. This is Wall’s best game in a while, maybe all year. He got everyone involved. Took control when he needed it, and we have a resounding win.
by les boulez bomber on Feb 12, 2012 8:13 PM EST reply actions
McGee is really learning to go straight up on his block attempts.
He’s really learning that skill nicely.
Yes, if JW commits to feeding him down low like he did tonight. JVM is a keeper. If not, he has to go.
But this would be a great team if we can play like this bring in a good PF, double double guy like Robinson, and sign some free agents.
I think the next step is wall just laying down the law by demanding this is how we have to play to win. and reward those that fall in line.

PF for sure. You have to get the harder to fill piece when you are lower in the lottery. make sense
We could get a double double guy and if JVM/JW play like this consistently, we become a good team in a hurry. We do need a SG of course, but they are relatively plentiful compared to all star PFs

Not as aggressive but I say Kevin Garnett with better defense and very good ball-handling.

This was a great game from Wall
but I doubt nba/national (maybe even local) media will caught on. I hate how Wall gets little to no love and Lin/Blake gets everything,
Skins, Bullets/Wizards, Nats, Caps.
All Washington Everything.
Lin gets hype because of Chinese heritage and that is the biggest market in the world, and there is no one else
Wall will get his. Most great players get no calls early in their career. Jordan had it tough for five or so years, a long time. It wasnt until he was able to rise up and beat the Pistons in the playoffs that he became untouchable. It’s a king of the hill mentality, and when WAS really starts winning, JW will get calls all the time

It’s because Wall doesn’t play pretty. He doesn’t have 25+ points a game. He gets about 15 a game, gets some dimes, and plays good defense. That’s what the league doesn’t want. They want high-scoring monsters
