I got this idea from the raptors real gm forum. http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1218734
Both teams are in similar situations when it comes to management, continually trading for/signing non game changing players, making excuses, lying to the fan base, and continuously trying to sell you on "the future" when the present looks like garbage.
Maybe someone with the skills to build a website should make one on this topic and make it a collection of all his blundersand eventually turning those blunders into even bigger messes. This man has been managing this team for almost a decade with nothing to show for it, the brightest days one of his teams had was being a slightly above average team with a marketable and charismatic, but fake superstar (Arenas was always a tier 2 star in this league, never came close to the caliber of Bron, Kobe, KG, Duncan, prime Wade etc). Never won more than 45 games during that time, even though the East was so bad that teams with losing records could get in the playoffs.
Another thing that makes me upset is how they keep leaving people in the dark when it comes to John's injury. Why are trying to lie their way out of giving the people who help pay him information. Why would they tell the fans "oh he's back in 2 months when they know the process might take another month, I can't stand people who only partially tell me the truth. I've been watching sports for about a decade and have never heard of a "non traumatic patella injury" before, why don't they tell the fans how much pain he is in, what is the rehab process, is there structural damage to the kneecap, is it similar to Granger's injury, which has him at a 3 month recovery process. They know what's going on, they just don't want you to know. But even when he is 100% don't play him until maybe around the final few months. When he is at 100% they should just have him working on skills with trainers so he can maximize his talent and speed. Have him learn how to run off screens and shoot or either go towards the basket for a floater. He said he worked on his post game in the offseason and he should use that in workouts before he comes back. have him learn how to spot up and pull up from behind the arc. Use this time as like an extended offseason.
Even before he became the manager of the wizards he was making backwards moves. He even traded Ray Allen, heading into the prime of his career, at age 27 for an old Gary Payton. The worst part is that he knew Payton wasn't gonna stay because he was on a 1 year contract. Ray Allen went onto have big scoring seasons in Seattle then going onto get a ring while the Bucks haven't done anything relevant since Shuttlesworth left.
Don't even have to say much for Vesely, I don't even see how someone who's suppose to know basketball drafts someone who can't even fit in at an NBA position or even bring a standout skill to the table. Oh wait, didn't a year ago he said a big part of why he drafted him was because of some Euro connection or something along those lines.
The people who like this team should find all the ways possible to get this message to the people who try to act as if there's no problem. Anytime the owner tries to rationalize this, just give him a link to things like this. What they're basically giving fans of this team a trash can full of smelly garbage and trying to tell you it's a box of nicely sorted chocolates.
