Should the Wizards pursue Demarcus Cousins?

It obviously goes against Ernie's plan to rid the team of knuckleheads, but has that really helped the Wizards anyway? The Kings could probably get more for Cousins than what the Wizards have to offer, but I think they should try. At this point in the dismal season I don't know if it could hurt the 3-win Wizards.

John Wall and Cousins are close friends and maybe that could be incentive for management to pursue him. I'd love to see the Wizards make a push for the big man and be willing to trade anyone other than Wall, Beal, and maybe Crawford.
