The Wizards keep shuffling deck chairs.

The Washington Wizards continue their constant shuffling of the deck chairs. The team officially announced that they have signed guards Shelvin Mack and Garrett Temple from the NBA Developmental League.

Mack and Temple will replace Shaun Livingston and Earl Barron on the roster. Livingston, of course, replaced Jannero Pargo, who replaced Mack the first time in training camp. Barron replaced Brian Cook. Basically, the last two spots on the roster have been tinkered with a lot this year. Not surprisingly, very little has changed.

Temple is a veteran D-Leaguer who has been called up by the Rockets, Spurs, Kings, Bucks and Bobcats. The 26-year old has always been on the cusp of sticking in the NBA, but hasn't done it yet. If this were baseball, we'd say he was a classic "AAAA" player.

My guess is that neither player's contract is guaranteed, which would make it easy for the Wizards to let them go and find other guys if these moves yield nothing.
