Washington Wizards' coach Randy Wittman told the media on Thursday that John Wall's progress is still on target. Wittman is hoping that the point guard will be able to return from the injury by late November.

Wall visited an area doctor earlier today and received a MRI. Wittman stated the doctors gave a "postive report" on Wall, and that the MRI is "showing healing" in his left knee.

Orthopedic specialist David Altchek discovered the injury five weeks ago, and projected Wall to miss at least eight weeks. Wall is currently limited to shooting jumpers and stretching, not wanting to push himself too hard. Altchek warned the point guard that pushing too hard could cause a stress fracture, which would further delay his return to the court.

A.J. Price has started for the Wizards at point guard this season. Price is averaging 10.0 points and 5.7 assists while playing 32 minutes per game. Washington is 0-3 after losing Wednesday to the Boston Celtics.
