One report suggests that there's a "good chance" Nene returns to the Washington Wizards' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Could the Washington Wizards finally get Nene back in the lineup to stop the bleeding after an 0-9 start? It remains to be seen, but there's at least one report that Nene could be back on the court for the Wizards' game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. Former ESPN reporter Ric Bucher tweeted out this just now.
Look for Nene to make season debut on Wednesday
Nene went through a full two-hour workout today and while it remains to be seen how he responds tomorrow, there's a good chance he could go vs. the Hawks. Happy Thanksgiving to the Wizards, indeed.
Local reporters covering Tuesday's practice only said that they saw Nene at the tail end of his workout. Nobody seemed to have as firm a timetable as Bucher presented.
Obviously, Nene's return would be a huge boost to the winless Wizards. It remains to be seen if he indeed plays on Wednesday or returns at a later date. We'll keep you posted.
