Don't look now but McGee has the highest PER of any center in the league. Also, his PER is in the top 10 of everybody in the league.
He's not playing many minutes, but he's playing hard. I think the manimal's attitude has rubbed off on him.
Also Olajuwan's coaching has made him smoother and more confident on offense. I suspect he will continue to improve on defense.
Is this a coincidence? I don't think so. The writing was on the wall that he would improve after getting out of DC.
This situation says more about the ownership/management of the Wizards than about McGee.
Is Wall next to blossom elsewhere?
