The rookie shooting guard will be in the starting lineup for Washington.

The Washington Wizards weren't sure if Bradley Beal would play against the Miami Heat on Wednesday. But even with a minor ankle injury, Beal is in there for Washington.

The rookie from Florida will be joined by A.J. Price, Trevor Ariza, Trevor Booker and Emeka Okafor in the starting lineup. It's the same lineup the team used in its last game.

Four days ago, Beal played 30 minutes for the Wizards. He scored 10 points and had four assists in a win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

The ankle injury came during a Wizards practice on Monday. What looked like a bad injury at first turned out to be just a tweak that resulted in no missed games. He was held out of practice on Tuesday as a precaution.

It is unclear how many minutes Beal is expected to play against the Heat. After Wednesday's game, Beal and the Wizards will travel to San Antonio to play the Spurs.
