Bradley Beal hurt his left ankle at a Washington Wizards practice, but was able to walk off on his own power.
There was a scary moment at Washington Wizards practice on Monday, as rookie guard Bradley Beal injured his ankle as the media was watching. However, he was able to walk off on his own power, and the injury doesn't appear serious.
Here are some reports from practice:
Beal seemed to run into a Vesely screen w his right leg & then, off-balanced, planted & tweaked his left leg. We will see...

Appears to be just an ankle tweak for Beal, and he did walk it off. Nothing further for now but was scary. #Wizards

Thinking is Beal tweaked his left ankle. Left practice w/ trainer in tow, but left walking. Wittman didn't appear to be freaked or anything.

If Beal walked off and Wittman "didn't appear to be freaked," then this is probably a false alarm. Nevertheless, we're always conditioned to expect the worst when it comes to Wizards injuries. Hopefully, Beal is indeed OK.
