I've come to the conclusion that john wall is just terribly afraid of shooting the outside jumper. Unlike last year where it didn't matter if he made it or missed -- now he's expected to knock em down, and the pressure is getting to him -- so much so in fact he's become self conscious about it and just wont take shots from the outside. Defenses pretty much have his number and literally sag off him - which is basically like stacking the line in football when you know the other teams gonna run. The reality is its killing our half court offense. so my message to john is this: If your open, shoot dangit! As wizard fan i personally would rather live through a season of watching you struggling through improving your jumper than watching NY/AB/or JC take ill advised fadeways against their man and yours who has sagged over to help. and if u miss...dont't worry about it. You're the future! If our open, Shoot the rock.
