Last time a team's max player

didn’t play…it didn’t go too well…

:(

But that was away…hopefully, tonight is the night…

Theres this idea

that when a team is missing one of its best players, at least for the first game, the team plays harder than usual….expect the nuggets to come out with fury

I dont care what the D.N.A. Says, the Guy wearing number 12 Cannot be Kirk Hinrich, he is definetly Kurt. Kirk can actually play basketball!

I still think the Nuggets are ring to win.

they play great D and hustle hard….(not quoting an Ace Hood song)

Can we hold off on the boos tonight ate least until the second half?
Saunders also told Blatche to take an open shot if he gets them. "I told him I passed them up because what was going on out there and I didn’t want to go into a deeper hole and hear some more," Blatche said of the boos.

wow did he really say that??

not that I’m surprised.. I actually support Blatche and think he would be great off the bench for our “winning team of the future” but he doesn’t have that killer instinct like Kobe. Kobe wouldn’t even let the crowd get to him much less admit it. Then again, that would suck to get booed by your home crowd even before you did anything wrong.

"And JaVale McGee, he doesn’t even get that he shouldn’t be throwing the ball off the backboard like a summer league game. He didn’t get it….I mean, part of the problem with John Wall is, John Wall OUGHT to be depressed that he’s playing with these clowns, and it appears like it. People blame John Wall. I go wait a minute, we can’t judge John Wall yet.

Wilbon on Javale…just saying maybe it wouldn’t be too bad if he left

Seriously bro!

Wilbon???? He hates all things Washington, I wouldn’t bank on anything that he says!

by KonartistNupe on Jan 20, 2012 4:55 PM EST up reply actions

who, wilbon?

i agree. he should leave

what's more selfish, non-team play?

Javale making that dunk, or John and Andray whining about calls they didnt deserve and costing us 2pts from consecutive techs?

by DCrez on Jan 20, 2012 5:02 PM EST up reply actions

How was the dunk selfish??

They were only down 6 at the point. Like i said in another thread, its not like he tried a really hard dunk like the free throw line dunk or even the 360, all he did was a simple off the backboard. He just wanted to ignite the crowd a bit. If he would’ve missed and cost the team 2 points than i would understand, if we were down by 25 i would understand but he made it, and ignited the crowd, i don’t see what is wrong with that. Its completely overblown.

by Wizkid4eva on Jan 20, 2012 5:08 PM EST up reply actions

i agree with you

which is why i’ve asked several times how come there is no mention whatsoever from Flip (or wilbon etc) that Wall and Dray got tech’d arguing on what were simply awful plays from them. How does Flip not mention that? “Those techs killed us.” They didnt really, but just say it

by DCrez on Jan 20, 2012 5:12 PM EST up reply actions

therein is the reason why i think we are doomed...

not a personal attack on you wizkid but we clearly don’t get that it was a terrible, boneheaded, insane, dumb play while more competent teams do.

The DUNK

is just another thing people can react negatively about. At this point we have to reestablish an organizational identity and that sort of play just doesn’t cut it.
