Why does the Wizards Brass Despise JaVale McGee so much?
When is the last time Ted or Flip would say something nice about JaVale McGee? I can't remember. They have spent the last 2 years just killing him to the media. The worst part is they always leave him out when they talk about the future. They constantly talk about how Andray Blatche is the future of the Wizards. Funny how most of the Wizards fans and ALL of the NBA teams do not feel the same way.
JaVale messes up on the court and he gets pulled quicker than any other player, and then Flip bad mouths him afterwards to the world. Andray and Rashard refuse to play and it's no big deal. Let's Start them the next game and deny everything to everyone. (I call it DENY MODE or LYE MODE).
MEMO to the Wizards: JaVale is only one of 2 players than can start on some of the other NBA team. You have players at the shooting guard, small forward and power forward positions that are situational role players THAT SHOULD NOT BE STARTING. They are not starting material. Check out your won-loss record.
The Wizards have two bonafide future great potential players: John Wall and JaVale McGee. PERIOD. The last time I checked JaVale is the #1 shot blocker in the entire NBA and ranks as the #10 rebounder. Where are Jordan Crawford and Andray Blatche, Ted's appointed CORNERSTONE Players ranked. No where. That's where.
Open your eyes Wizards Brass. Your letting your feelings toward your crappy players blurr your vision of who you should be concentrating on promoting and helping.
Go Wizards and Go JaVale!

Here’s something Ted wrote earlier this week…
From Ted’s Take (1/15/2012):
JaVale McGee had a really good game last night with 23 points; 11 for 13 from the field; 18 rebounds; and 5 blocked shots. He leads the NBA in blocked shots as well. He is developing and showing his potential.
And a month ago…
From Ted’s Take (12/13/2011):
Our center is an accomplished athlete and a very nice young man; JaVale McGee. He works hard on his game. Hard work is a key to improvement. I also find him to be erudite and well-read and highly relevant. I like him a lot! He is maturing and he works hard on his game. It takes a long time for Centers to develop – Javale is right on schedule; I am confident in him; I respect him; and I am hopeful that he and our other young players work hard to bond and to understand that we are building a team chemistry around young players that we draft – and develop.

Yeah, okay
facts are well and good, but where’s the overblown outrage?

Better yet
just ignore anything that refutes your premise

This is sooooooo scary
