The Wizards' Masterly Inactivity
As the agony of this season continues, let us give thanks for two things the Wizards didn't do in the off-season:
1. No long-term deal for Nick Young
2. No amnesty for Rashard (meaning they can buy out Rashard next year and amnesty Blatche instead)
In all seriousness, the stuff that's happened so far this season doesn't necessarily imply doom for the future. (McGee is taking pretty big, if still uncertain, strides. Singleton and Vesely look like they can be good support pieces, as Booker already is. And they'll have all kinds of freedom to make moves in the off-season.)
Imagine, on the other hand, being locked into Blatche and Young for a collective $15 million or so a year, for 4 or 5 years. Seriously, what a difference...
This represents the view of the user who wrote the FanPost, and not the entire Bullets Forever community. We're a place of many opinions, not just one.

as bad as things are right now
they could worse, they could be stuck in salary cap hell.
Hopefully they can hit a homerun with the 2012 draft pick. If they do resign McGee, hopefully they won’t overpay him.
We will have to pay near max of JaVale and if we don't,
another team will. At least his low IQ will be shipped off elsewhere.
