Best Defense vs. Worst Offense...

I have no expectations, so they will easily be exceeded.

I am hoping to break 70!

Onwards and upwards…

Even when we reach the 70s and are in the lead...

once JCraw start chucking shots, it’s anybody’s ball game.

I'm gonna be honest.

I love our starting five. We might not score but at least the effort and hustle is there. The defense will be solid at least. Every lose ball will be hunted. Book and Csing’s shot will develop eventually.

According to 82games.com (the link i posted)

the starting lineup has a 60% winning, overall +2. Crawford lineups are pretty much always the worst. but you guys should just check it out. Sorry to Repost but i think its really informative. Will be the last time.

it doesn't really make sense how we can shoot so poorly

sure we do bullshit and the clock winds down a lot forcing us to chuck. but we miss soooo many open looks

We need a SG

Nick is not the answer (even though i love him) and JCraw is even worse…much worse

by Wizards Khalifa on Jan 13, 2012 7:28 PM EST reply actions

thats real

but he shoots even more ridiculous shit and just generally has a worse demeanor IMO. But Nick has been letting me down

by Wizards Khalifa on Jan 13, 2012 7:31 PM EST up reply actions

The problem is

that too often when we score it feels like a little miracle. Our defense is improving.

I like the sixers team...

said in preseason it wouldn’t surprised me if they won a first round series in the playoffs

by koop1122 on Jan 13, 2012 7:44 PM EST reply actions

They gave Miami a decent fight

I liked their scrap, they just didn’t have anyone to guard Wade at the end of games

by seewhite on Jan 13, 2012 7:46 PM EST up reply actions

That was a horrible move

and Mack had floated out to the three point line and was wide open. Not saying Crawford should have seen him, but still,

by seewhite on Jan 13, 2012 7:46 PM EST up reply actions

that is NOT what he said

He said he is better than MJ….
get it right

by AFM on Jan 13, 2012 7:47 PM EST up reply actions

If I were Flip and wanted to get Wall checked in

I’d tell him “Jrue Holiday is only to months older than you are, yet he’s clearly the better player tonight. What are you going to do about it?”

by mindstaterev on Jan 13, 2012 7:46 PM EST reply actions

and wall would answer

“Flip, you suck fat balls, what are you going to do about it?”

by Wizards Khalifa on Jan 13, 2012 7:49 PM EST up reply actions

Learn to suck them better

All coach asked for was some improvement

by mindstaterev on Jan 13, 2012 7:51 PM EST up reply actions

I dunno

It seemed to me like Crawford dropped off the pass a bit late, but at least it wasn’t a turnover.

by Marine4Life51 on Jan 13, 2012 7:48 PM EST up reply actions

McGee is an incredible blocker

But Hawes is a much more capable interior passer

by mindstaterev on Jan 13, 2012 7:49 PM EST reply actions

Really this team is a damn joke. they don't waana play for Flip. They aren't even trying half the time

one possesion early in the game a guy blew by Wall and he just stood there and watched no effort,

by jazzy1 on Jan 13, 2012 7:51 PM EST reply actions

cosign

Ernie’s a retard for putting a team like this together. But still, Flip has got to go

by Wizards Khalifa on Jan 13, 2012 7:52 PM EST up reply actions

It's the same story every game

Lewis was out there clapping his hands like he was into the game but he is just waiting for his ticket out.

by seewhite on Jan 13, 2012 7:52 PM EST reply actions

I think Vesely is gonna develop a good shot

Right now it’s horrible because it looks like he just throws it up with no follow through. But once he starts flicking his wrist I think it will be much less of a high arcing throw and turn into a solid shot

by FNFWizardsFan on Jan 13, 2012 7:53 PM EST reply actions

Someone needs to help Nick Young out

Run a play, instead of just letting him ISO up.

by Marine4Life51 on Jan 13, 2012 7:54 PM EST reply actions

Hey guys and gals

Just tuning in

Down by double digits again

Looks,like all the other games

by CVC on Jan 13, 2012 7:55 PM EST reply actions

Nick Young has a really nice repertoire of moves

But its not enough
That isn’t good pro basketball, its good pick up bball

by AFM on Jan 13, 2012 7:55 PM EST reply actions

He's not even that good

but i GUARANTEE this team would play much harder for Mark Jackson than for Flip

by Wizards Khalifa on Jan 13, 2012 7:55 PM EST reply actions

lol

its crazy how bad this team is at basic basketball things. Like passing, and shooting, and trying

by Wizards Khalifa on Jan 13, 2012 7:57 PM EST up reply actions

What the hell was that

he threw that like Wall is six foot eight

by seewhite on Jan 13, 2012 7:58 PM EST up reply actions

McGee's post game is monsterous

Or can be… Obviously they’re trying to get him more touches, but he’s trying wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to hard. If he wants more touches, which he needs, he needs to start not shooting everytime. This should be obivous

by FNFWizardsFan on Jan 13, 2012 7:57 PM EST reply actions

Wall's hoops IQ in Flip's offense is sinking by the game

we’re gonna need to install a feeding tube into Wall’s brain to keep him alive he gets any more brain dead running it.

by jazzy1 on Jan 13, 2012 7:58 PM EST reply actions

that why you don't try an alley oop on a fast break

for the fan post that said Wall should have passed on his dunk against the bulls…

they look nice, but are a lower %

by DavidDunn on Jan 13, 2012 7:58 PM EST reply actions

not always

a dunk can be the highest % shot possible. An alleyoop from someone that cant make a pass is a different story

by Wizards Khalifa on Jan 13, 2012 8:00 PM EST up reply actions

That's what confuses me about this team

The dumb habits and faults in some players game is so obvious, but it’s like they cant see it. Like it seems like any person with sense if they were Jordan Crawford would notice what they kept doing

by FNFWizardsFan on Jan 13, 2012 7:59 PM EST reply actions

I was thinking that watching the game the other night

We wouldn’t last five seconds in an environment like that. The intensity was to high, Blatche might actually melt into a puddle of goo.

by seewhite on Jan 13, 2012 8:00 PM EST up reply actions

Damn, whats up Philly?

They should be crushing us, but they are really forcing up some horrible shots tonight. Making us look good.

by seewhite on Jan 13, 2012 7:59 PM EST reply actions

by K-Bro on Jan 13, 2012 8:02 PM EST reply actions

sixers lead league in defense

so it’s not just our bad offense

I like the Bullets

by K-Bro on Jan 13, 2012 8:04 PM EST reply actions

You know when youre playing a video game, or 1 on 1 or something

and you realize youre gna lose, so you stop trying to make it act like you weren’t trying from the beginning, so that its somehow less embarrassing. That is the Wizards season 2011-2012

by Wizards Khalifa on Jan 13, 2012 8:04 PM EST reply actions

I feel sincerely bad for Wall

That shot he just took was pretty good, if he had a better team he could developing so much better. Like Lewis really has missed this many open looks?

by FNFWizardsFan on Jan 13, 2012 8:05 PM EST reply actions

But he could develop it so much more naturally on basically any other team

How can he naturally develop a form he’s trying to practice when defenses play this team the way they do, he can never shoot it normal and has to constantly overthink anything.

by FNFWizardsFan on Jan 13, 2012 8:11 PM EST up reply actions

The only time he gets real practice on his jumper with correct form

Is in a gym, never in a real game. That 3 was the only normal relaxed shot he’s taken all year, that’s just stupid

by FNFWizardsFan on Jan 13, 2012 8:12 PM EST up reply actions

why the FNF

nothing to do with First and Fifteen is it?

by Wizards Khalifa on Jan 13, 2012 8:17 PM EST up reply actions
