I know he has been a big disappointment so far this year, and I think it is no surprise that the Wizards have been so uncompetitive as a result. The one or two games that the Wizards competed, Blatche played pretty well. Obviously in the Boston game when he scored 28 on 50% shooting, but also in the Knicks game when he shot 7 for 11.
In order for the Wizards to win, Blatche must play well IN ADDITION to Wall and/or Young in the same game. But I believe that he must play well for them to even be close at the end.
How frustrating to have such a crucial role on your team filled by someone who lacks the poise to succeed in that role. Have I given up on Blatche? No. Because, for me, giving up on Blatche means giving up on the Wizards. And I'll not do that.
