Vesely?

Is it just me or does it seem like our top pick in this past year's draft is kind of dogging it this summer? I mean if I was a highly touted, yet mostly unknown to the American public, international prospect I'd like to think that I would get my butt over to the country where I was going to be paid and meet/play/train with my future teammates.

A lot of people , especially here at BF were *ahem* disappointed with the Vesely pick. And so far he's really done nothing to assuage any concerns about him making the transition to the NBA. I would have LOVED to see his name on the IMPACT league list. It would have allowed him to develop some chemistry with Wall. It would give him a chance to show that he can play against NBA talent/speed/size/athleticism. But besides that and maybe more importantly, we all saw how Mr. Seraphin's first year transitioning from France to the NBA went. There are a TON of cultural things to get used to and that can have a huge effect on a player's performance on the court.

We know he's not playing in Europe this summer. So what's he been doing? And to add to that, what's Singleton been doing? Working on his clothing line?

The lockout has to end at some point, and if Vesely and Wall look at each other for the first time face to face the first day of an abbreviated training camp/preseason (if that) it going to be another long frustrating year
