As suspected, it looks like the Wizards will be affiliated with the Iowa Energy, along with the Bulls and Hornets. The Energy won last year's D-League championship and have a really good coaching staff in place (not just head coach Nick Nurse but also his lead assistant) who have helped develop Othyus Jeffers, among others. That's good, because given that Cleveland bought and will move the New Mexico team, I might otherwise be tempted to say that Washington is falling behind.
