Hello Bullets Forever, I am Omaha Sun, a Phoenix Suns fan and editor for Ridiculous Upside.
I am currently writing a series of articles for RU taking a look at the rookies and where they fit into their new teams' depth charts. I'm not particularly familiar with the Wizards, so I thought I'd drop by and ask you fine people for some help.
The Wizards pose a challenge as they not only drafted 2 players that play the same position but also boast a roster made up entirely of young players. I really am not sure where to begin, other than saying John Wall is the PG and JaVale McGee is the C. I'll start off with a few roster questions in general just because I'd like to know.
First off, how do you guys feel about the SG position? Do you like Nick Young, or see him as nothing but a black hole? Are you confident he will be re-signed, or do you think he'll go elsewhere? How high are you on Jordan Crawford?
How do you feel about Flip Saunders as your coach? I can't say I like the guy all that much, although I'm not exactly sure why that is.
OK, now to the rookies:
Mack shouldn't be too difficult to figure out. John Wall can't play 48 mpg, and I don't see much of a back-up on the roster. Mack will probably get his chances there.
But what about the SFs? Do you roll with the untradeable veteran in Rashard Lewis, or do you throw one of the rookies into the fire?
Thanks for the help guys.
