SPURS Want Klay Thompson for Tony Parker

We all rave about how good at drafting the San Antonio Spurs are at it. Word is that San Antonio wants to trade Tony Parker high enough in the draft to grab Klay Thompson. He appears to be the best pure shooter in the draft. Someone who can be a 2 or a 3 and can create his own shot. There is no doubt he is flying up the draft boards.

We say that #6 is too high to take someone like Klay Thompson but if the rumor is out that San Antonio is targeting him then we should at least pause and re-evaluate how good a Pro he will be and if San Antonio is willing to trade a quality player like Tony Parker for him then why is the Wizards not considering him at #6.

Which makes sense because there is no better team at drafting foreigners and then waiting a year or two for them to come over

Ummm

An emphatic NO for Jordan Hamilton and #6 is too high for Klay Thompson. I like Singleton and Brooks though
